Tarmac International, Inc is pleased to announce the commissioning of a calcium drying, milling, and screening plant located in Texas.
This project started with an invitation to see some of our equipment being built. That customer worked closely with our sales and engineering team to create the best system for their calcium drying. We used a parallel flow 7′ x 30′ rotary thermal dryer. A compact design kept conveyors to a minimum to help stick to the budget.
Tarmac was hired for mechanical and electrical installation as well on this project. We scheduled cranes and workers and kept the installation on schedule.
Tarmac supplies sand, rock, and bulk aggregate plants around the world.
Components designed and built by Tarmac include:
- feed bins
- conveyors
- rotary dryers (parallel and counter flow)
- cyclones
- baghouses
- storage silos
- control houses with starters and PLC controls.
