Complete Hemp Drying Systems:
Tarmac International is building Complete Hemp Drying Systems. Commercial Hemp Producers use Tarmac dryers to produce from 1 to 14 tons per hour. They are portable, skid mounted for easier transport, or large stationary systems. Our systems are used to dry other Bio Solids and Organic Solids in addition to Hemp.
Higher yields through proper design means higher profit per acre. Tarmac’s “Air Heater” controls gas temperatures by reducing burner flame temperature with cooling air. This cooler air maintains higher yield and quality of trichomes, cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. Consequently, this improves potency and efficiency.

Commercial Hemp Drying Systems
Industrial Hemp has become a hot topic since legalization in 2018. There is an entire infrastructure that must be built to cultivate, harvest, condition, store, and process the plants. You know how to grow. We help you maintain the profile nature intended from the field as it is dried and sent to storage or processed further. Proper drying methods will keep high levels of the trichomes to yield you the highest profit per acre. This is where Tarmac comes in with a better drying solution.
What makes the Tarmac Complete System a better solution?
– Higher potential oil yield
Take a close look at marijuana plants and you’ll notice shiny and sticky crystals that blanket the plant’s leaves and buds. These are trichomes. They produce the hundreds of known cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. In addition, they contain the potency and efficiency of the different hemp strains. Tarmac’s systems maintain more trichomes in the process, therefore producing higher CBD, terpenes, and flavonoids.
– Better Terpene profile
Maintaining terpenes is critical. This is especially true when processing plant matter for further extraction. These substances help the endocannabinoid system in the human body know how to process the cannabinoids. They are critical components of cellular bio signaling.
– Low heat
First of all, low heat is critical to maintain the terpene and cannabinoid profile. Tarmac’s drying system offers the ability to adjust on the fly. Plant operators continuously monitor and adjust temperature. We can achieve product temperatures as low as 120°F and still achieve drying rates down to 10% outgoing moisture content.
– Longer retention time & heavy veiling
Secondly, Tarmac offers up to 60′ of active drying shell for longer retention time. Our adjustable flights accomplish heavy veiling of your plant material. Long retention time and heavy veiling allows us to offer a dehydration solution that maximizes plant health. In that way, you maintain the highest quality of final product.
– Optional indirect-fired heating system
Looking for a solution for high-grade cannabis that is to be further extracted? Dryers on the market today are emitting petroleum products into the cannabis they are drying through byproducts of combustion. Tarmac heat exchangers warm ambient air to the same temperatures as the standard dryer. However, the byproducts of combustion never enter the dryer. Tarmac offers the safest alternative. We use cleaner gas flow into the rotary convection dryer in addition to the same heavy veiling and retention times.
