Tarmac feed bins & hoppers
Tarmac Feed Bin walls are ¼” thick. They feature a reinforced top bin lip with channel stiffener, and reinforced bin walls with horizontal stiffeners. The feeder belt conveyor has a winged tail pulley, and lagged head pulley with drive. Your bin is complete with a belt scraper and an adjustable outlet gate.
Feed Bins and Hoppers are just one part designed to make the whole system work well. There are some great feed bins in this installation.
- The channel collector conveyor is typically 36” wide.
- The grizzly over our hoppers have a bar grating 3” x 3” and ¼” thick to retain oversized material that will interrupt material flow (sticks, large clay balls and large pieces of rubble). Your end loader drags his bucket on the grate to easily remove retained material.
- A walkway and caged ladder offer easy access to any material collected on the grizzly.
- A bin vibrator is on the side of the hopper to reduce bridging of material.
- Our hoppers are designed with guarding, and E stop cords that are located on both sides of feeder belt to stop your conveyor.
- The steel bulkhead has two wing walls. Instead of pouring a concrete ramp or walls this bulkhead package allows for quick installation of the feed bin and ramp.
